the hotel was fairly clean, the room was comfy and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. booked a room with excellent views of the lake too.

This hotel is situated in a great location, close to both the beach of the lake and the historical city centre - perfect for exploring Sirmione. The rooms come with a fridge and balcony, and some even offer a nice view of the lake. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of options to choose from, and you can enjoy it both inside and outside in the lovely garden. Plus, the price is very affordable for what you get.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great!

The hotel was close to the public main beach and in the Old Town of Sermione, so pretty much walking distance to every where. We had to check-in at Hotel Continental but it is walking distance from Hotel Villa Maria. The receptionist at Hotel Continental was really helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was nice, very similar what I have seen so far in Italy: lots of fresh bread, ham, salame, cheese, butter, honey, cereal, milk, yoghurt, 3 types of fresh juice, water, coffee machine, tea bags, fresh fruit and cakes. The room was clean, good AC, television (but only italian channels). Beautiful views, we had a small balcony with 2 chairs but enough to sit and enjoy the sunset. Also noiseless street, great!

The room was small, but to be honest it was fine for us. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room so you could have a glass of wine in the balcony and enjoy the views. There isn't much staff in the hotel so you always have to wait to speak with someone. Bring your own shampoo as there isn't enough in the bathroom.

I didn't like driving through the castle gates pedestrian walkway. It was too crowded. Balcony offered only a partial view of the lake. Bathroom was too small.

Very silent and romantic hotel in the excellent environment, good panorama, the breakfast is very good. The way to Hotel parking is very exciting across the Historical center, but in the end is very good in the hotel garden.
